Getting to Positano by plane
 If you want to travel by plane and reach Positano, please be aware that there is no airport in Positano and that the nearest one is the international airport of Naples (also known as Capodichino Airport ). This airport is the biggest in the region and handles national and international flights, including low cost and charter flights.
Naples airport is only 7 kilometres away from the city centre. It has recently been modernized and enlarged to ensure a better service.
In the main terminal of the airport in Naples, there is a business lounge with conference and meeting facilities, on the first floor. There is also a wide shopping area where you an purchase local products as well as typical products of Campania.  If it is a plane you were hoping to take to get to Positano, please remember that as this is not possible, you have the following three alternatives:
get a bus to Positano
take a taxi or rent a car with or without a chauffeur.
take a helicopter tour to Positano.
In the first case, though affordable, most of the buses heading in that direction are in the afternoon, and there are but a few. With the other options the costs are higher, depending on the exclusivity of the transport option you’ve chosen, but to get a clearer indication of the costs involved, it would be advisable to investigate these options further.
